Party Poker Bankroll Challenge

Jamie Kerstetter, long time Grindette and PartyPoker New Jersey Pro is running a 7 day $50 Bankroll Challenge this week. The Challenge is simple, in her words:
'The idea is to start with a very small deposit, maybe $50, and grind from $2 sit n go’s and very small cash games, moving up gradually in stakes when my “bankroll” allows it. I’d document every day what stakes I’m playing and update my bankroll.'

  1. In recent days, PocketFives.com member Mario XxxMaYiToxxXRomera successfully finished turning $200 into $10,000 as part of a bankroll building challenge that began in February. Several buy-ins later, Romera stands tall and commented in his PocketFives.com Blog, “After grinding $2 – 180 and 90 mans, $4 – 180 mans – All MTTs under $10 – I.
  2. Chris Ferguson Bankroll Management Guide. Chris Ferguson is a popular professional online poker player, which is part of the Full Tilt Team. One of his major achievements was to turn $0 into $10,000 with his “from 0 to Hero online poker challenge” by playing poker at Full Tilt Poker.

Today is day 5 of the Challenge. Her results thus far are pretty admirable:

Day One: Played $2 SNGs, NL4 - NL10, and 2 freerolls. She finished the day with $69 in cash plus a freeroll win with an equity value of $100.

Day Two: Played $5 SNGs, $1-$5 Satellites, NL10, a freeroll, and the $10 BI $500 GTD. She finished the day with $104 in her account and another $105 in tickets to future events. She did manage to satellite into the $5k GTD event and finished 10 spots from the money. Getting close to a big run up in bankroll even with the conservative requirements.

Day Three: NL10, a few SNGs and MTTs. Jamie took 2nd in a $5 MTT for a $93 cash. She ended with a cash balance of $184 plus $100 in tickets for future events.

Challenge Bankroll: $195.00 Full Tilt was playing up for me on Sunday, so not wanting to deprive myself of some table time I put $10 from my Neteller account into Party Poker just for the hell of it and managed to run it up to about $80 in a couple of days.
